For decades I was in search of this person. A reflection to be proud of, One who inspires others to aspire for the unthinkable and unimaginable. I LOVE God. My sense of humor is a tad off. I will laugh at almost anything. And I LOVE to love.
Weight Loss Journey
Gaining weight uncontrollably was the first sign of me losing me. Spiraling downhill into depression was easy because I taught myself how to be invisible and I knew how to say all the right things. From 2016 to early 2019 was the most difficult time for me emotionally. I finally got tired of losing. I finally got tired of needing. I finally got fed up with being alone and not having anyone physically in my corner. I ran from everyone.
It was time for the talk. Admitting to God that life's experiences had me afraid to think, feel and move was not as hard as admitting to myself that I was afraid to live. Figuring out how to carry 330 pounds was a whole lot easier than confronting the demons I gave my power to. But not existing because of fear petrified me! So, I jumped without warning. I told God, "You have to catch me or I'm dead".
I show up for LaShonda LaShell by doing what's true to what is innately within her. I see her for Who she is, who she aspires to become AND for Whose she IS!!! I LOVE LaShonda LaShell off principle. Her reflection is radiant and makes my heart smile.
My prayer and loves hope is that becoming one with myself affords the opportunity for you to share this place and beyond if desired! Self discovery through SELF-LOVE is how Loving Me 4 ME was birthed!
